No previous nonprofit experience is required. Training, mentorship, and professional development are provided.

About the Opportunity

We're looking for a motivated and organized Volunteer Social Media Coordinator to become part of our growing Marketing & Communications Team. Unlike many social media roles, you won't be expected to create all of the content yourself.

Instead, you'll work within a collaborative team where responsibilities are shared:

Executive Director & Marketing Manager

  • Marketing strategy & planning

  • Campaign oversight

  • Final approvals

  • Mentorship & QA

Content Creator

  • Topic research

  • Educational content development

  • Caption writing

  • AI-assisted copywriting

Graphic Designer

  • Graphic design

  • Canva development

  • Brand consistency

  • Visual storytelling

Social Media Coordinator - You

  • Content scheduling

  • Publishing approved posts

  • Community engagement

  • Weekly analytics reporting

Your Responsibilities

As our Volunteer Social Media Coordinator, you will:

  • Upload approved content into Content360

  • Schedule approved posts across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and X

  • Publish content according to the CareBridge content calendar

  • Monitor comments and messages, responding where appropriate or escalating matters requiring management's attention

  • Monitor engagement, reach, and follower growth

  • Prepare a brief weekly social media analytics report

  • Help maintain a consistent, professional, and engaging online presence

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Organized and dependable

  • Detail-oriented

  • Passionate about digital marketing and communications

  • Comfortable using social media platforms

  • A strong written communicator

  • Able to follow established workflows and brand standards

  • Open to learning AI-assisted marketing tools

  • Collaborative, professional, and eager to learn

Previous experience is welcome but not required. We value enthusiasm, reliability, and a willingness to grow.
