01 WHO WE ARE
A society formed to make care feel reachable.
CareBridge Unity Alliance Society (CBUA) is a nonprofit organization currently in the process of registration, built by neighbors, for neighbors. We exist in the space between the person who needs help and the system that's supposed to provide it, and we work to make that space shorter, warmer, and easier to cross.

We are not a service directory. We are an alliance: individuals, volunteers, partner organizations, and funders choosing to move in the same direction.

The gap is not a lack of programs. It's the distance between a person and the help meant for them.​

Barriers to access
People eligible for support often can't navigate the intake, paperwork, or waitlist that stands between them and it.

Poverty's compounding weight
Cost of living, transportation, and childcare quietly disqualify people from the very programs designed to help them.

Housing instability
A sudden loss of income, unexpected expense, rent increase, or eviction notice can destabilize a household in a matter of weeks.

Isolation
Social isolation can leave people without the support, connection, and encouragement they need during difficult periods.

06 AREAS OF IMPACT
Not a list of services. Three crossings we help people make.
We frame our work as bridges, not programs because a program serves a need, but a bridge changes what's possible on the other side.
BRIDGE 01
ACCESS
The bridge to support that already exists.
Most of what people need is technically available. Our first area of impact is making sure they can actually reach it, walking alongside them through intake, appointments, forms, and follow-through.
BRIDGE 02
BELONGING
The bridge out of isolation.
Belonging is more than being connected to a service. We aim to create opportunities for people to build relationships, participate in community, and move beyond isolation through meaningful connection, peer support, community activities, and shared experiences.
BRIDGE 03
STABILITY
The bridge from crisis to footing.
We focus on what turns a single act of help into lasting change: a stable home, an unfrozen bank account, a skill that pays, and a plan the person actually owns.

Membership is how we build a base that is broad, recurring, and community-owned instead of dependent on a single donor or grant cycle.
