Policy Overview

The Glow for Good campaign operates under a strict no-refund policy. This means that once you purchase raffle tickets, your payment is final and cannot be refunded, reversed, or credited back to you under any circumstances.

This policy is in place because the funds raised through ticket sales are immediately allocated to charitable purposes and campaign operations. Raffle tickets are fundamentally different from traditional products or services, and once purchased, they represent your entry into the draw and your contribution to our charitable mission.

Why No Refunds? 

Charitable raffles operate differently than traditional purchases. Once tickets are issued and funds are allocated to charitable programs, we cannot reverse these transactions without disrupting our mission to help families in need.

What This Means for You

When you purchase raffle tickets, you should understand that:

  • Your purchase is final the moment your payment is processed

  • You cannot request a refund for any reason, including change of mind

  • Refunds will not be issued if you are unable to claim a prize

  • No refunds will be provided if you do not win a prize

  • Duplicate or accidental purchases are not eligible for refunds

  • Technical issues during purchase do not qualify for refunds

  • Campaign cancellation or postponement does not entitle you to a refund

Before You Purchase

We strongly encourage you to carefully review all details before completing your purchase:

  • Verify the number of tickets you wish to purchase

  • Ensure your contact information is correct

  • Review the raffle rules and terms and conditions

  • Understand that your purchase is a donation to a charitable cause

  • Confirm you meet all eligibility requirements

Exceptions & Special Circumstances

No Exceptions Policy

Our no-refund policy applies universally to all participants without exception. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Personal emergencies or financial hardship

  • Change of mind or buyer's remorse

  • Inability to participate or claim prizes

  • Disagreement with campaign rules or procedures

  • Not being selected as a winner

  • Technical issues with payment processing (after successful completion)

Campaign Cancellation

In the unlikely event that the Glow for Good campaign is cancelled before the draw takes place, the Organizer reserves the right to determine the appropriate course of action, which may include:

  • Rescheduling the draw to a future date

  • Allocating funds directly to charitable purposes

  • Other arrangements as deemed appropriate by the Organizer

Even in the case of cancellation, refunds are not guaranteed and will be issued solely at the discretion of the Organizer.

Legal Compliance: 

This no-refund policy is consistent with applicable Canadian fundraising regulations and charitable raffle guidelines. Raffle tickets are considered donations with an opportunity to win, not purchases of goods or services.

Payment & Transaction Issues

Duplicate Charges

If you believe you have been charged multiple times for a single transaction due to a technical error, please contact us immediately with:

  • Your transaction confirmation numbers

  • Payment receipt or bank statement showing duplicate charges

  • The email address used for purchase

  • Date and time of the transaction(s)

We will investigate legitimate duplicate charge claims, but please note that multiple intentional purchases are not considered duplicates and are not refundable.

Failed Transactions

If your payment was unsuccessful (declined, failed, or not processed), you will not receive raffle tickets and no refund is necessary as no charge was completed. If you believe you were charged for a failed transaction, contact your payment provider first, then reach out to us with documentation.

Chargebacks

Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or credit card company for a legitimate raffle ticket purchase may result in:

  • Disqualification from the current raffle

  • Forfeiture of all purchased entries

  • Prohibition from future participation in our campaigns

  • Legal action to recover funds and associated costs

Payment Confirmation:

You will receive an email confirmation once your payment is successfully processed. If you do not receive confirmation within 24 hours, please check your spam folder or contact us.

Your Rights & Responsibilities

Consumer Protection

While we maintain a strict no-refund policy, you have the right to:

  • Receive accurate information about the raffle and how funds are used

  • Have your personal information protected according to our Privacy Policy

  • Contact us with questions or concerns about your purchase

  • Request transaction documentation for your records

  • Fair and transparent treatment throughout the campaign

Your Responsibilities

As a participant, you are responsible for:

  • Keeping your confirmation emails and receipts

  • Monitoring your email for winner notifications
